Our VAAN (Virtual Academy for Advanced Networking) course provides a rigorous 40-hour training completed at a self-paced level within a 3-month timeframe. This aligns with our goal of promoting community integration and stability through supportive housing networks.

In addition to comprehensive traditional mentor training, our mentors are equipped with specialized skills to act as connectors and advocates, linking mentees to valuable people, places, experiences, and opportunities within STEM fields.

Before the program begins, mentors undergo thorough training. Throughout the program, additional sessions cover new curricula provided by the Nevada Society of Professional Engineers, complemented by refresher trainings on best mentoring practices. Each mentor receives individual copies of curricular materials to prepare and lead effective hands-on STEM activities.
